Manor Players present a Murder Mystery with a twist

Who Killed Captain Bob ?

Terry Pattinson's adaption of the Robert Maxwell story

'Who Killed Captain Bob?', where all the suspects are claiming to have been
the killer of Robert Maxwell but you have to decipher who you think it is
that killed him. We will have an audience's choice and an author's choice
based on the evening's performances and a winner will be chosen from each
of the correct voters in each category.

*Whilst the winners are chosen, we'll also be treating you to the

wonderfully emotional

'How Could I Forget?'

by Jenny Hazell

This touching
story is one that is very close to her, featuring her grandparents as the
main characters. We'll also be entering this production into both
Spelthorne & Sunbury Festival and Woking Festival so this will be the first
time this is staged before we taken on the hunt for awards.*

The should be a fun social evening as well a great night of theatre and food and we look forward to having you join us in September.

This was one of the best attended Am-Dram events I've ever been to and we were all treated to an entire evening of wonderful pieces. Everyone we spoke to enjoyed themselves and it had the bonus of being a very good fundraiser for the societies.

Congratulations are also in order for Dawn Bradley who the Comedy Award (sponsored by Thorpe Players). Her piece, written by our own Geoff Buckingham, was wonderfully funny and had the room in fits of laughter. The Drama Award (sponsored by Staines Players) was won by Val Clayton and the Ensemble Award (sponsored by Manor Players) was won by Dallas and Amanda Stuart.

See you all this time Next Year!
